Arcane in the Dark

A downloadable roleplaying game designed to be played with Blades in the Dark.

A Forged in the Dark Supplement based on Riot’s Arcane series.

The world of Piltover and Zaun is similar to the world of Duskvol. Many of the same types of stories waiting to be told with Blades in the Dark could also be told to explore the version of League of Legends presented in Arcane.

After watching Arcane I decided I wanted to write a Forged in the Dark hack for Arcane. This is not intended as a stand-alone project - the main rules and advice on how to run the game is contained within Blades in the Dark (or one of the many excellent Forged in the Dark games). This is written for GM’s and players who have played a Forged in the Dark game before and wish to play a Blades-style game set in Arcane.

This supplement contains rules for HexTech, Shimmer and ChemTech as well as 6 Playbooks for Arcane themed characters:

• Soldier - A tough melee fighter
• Alchemist - A backstreet scientist dealing in Chems
• Inventor - A creator of powerful gadgets
• Enforcer - A dangerous ranged hunter
• Councillor - A political mastermind
• Mage - A wielder of the Arcane

The full text includes optional rules for incorporating HexTech and Shimmer into your game. These give powerful boosts but with the risk of increased complications.
